Working Paper XLVII · Ghostwritten Souls
Of Confessions Whispered to the Engine
A Hauntology of the Borrowed Pen, the Doctrine of Three Sources, and the Slow Re-Negotiation of the Authorial Soul
Abstract
In the long quarrel between the human hand and the machines that have lately learned to finish its sentences, a curious silence has settled over the literary estates of the realm: not the silence of refusal, but the silence of the confessional booth. This paper attends to that whisper, and defends the only frontier that has ever mattered: the one between writing with a thing and being written for.
